Teaser for our personal project that won a Special Mention at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair 2025. A multimedia webcomic based on fragments from the diary and work of the author Mihail Sebastian, an eyewitness to the rise of fascism in Romania. The digital art project “Mihail Sebastian and the youth with a lily soul” aims to document the decline of democracy and the rise of extremism in Romanian society in the 1930s and 1940s.
Official spot for the 17’th edition of Anim’est international festival. Our own Lu Pop was a VFX supervisor, Lead compositing artist and character designer on this amazing project.
Music video made for “Oigăn + Nick Făgădar – Teologie”. The song is part of Oigăn’s second album “Antimaterie” inspired by subjects studied in school. Each track has a music video made by different artists and directors. Our theme was “theology”. The music is a mix of psychedelic folk and electronic nuances which inspired our style and direction.
Tragicomical documentary. Making the rounds in international film festivals. Won the audience award at Filmul de Piatra 2024. Combining the colourful visuals of old Romanian rural church painting with cut-out style animation, the result is a very atypical tragicomical documentary highlighting the forgotten history of the involvement of the church in the enslavement of the Roma people in Romania.
